Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actor, playback vocalist and musician, who is mostly in Tamil and Malayalam language films. Annayum Rasoolum, a Malayalam film is her Malayalam debut as an actor. Andrea Jeremiah has been identified as an Anglo-Indian born in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is an attorney in the Madras High Court. Her older sister is living and working in Leuven Belgium, as a Research assistant. Jeremiah is originally from Chennai. She attended National Public School, and later graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea started classes in classical piano when she was eighteen, was described as a "geek" and was aspiring to become a psychiatrist until the 12th grade exam. She was part of the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars when she was 10. It was this group that shaped her musical and singing career. At her university, she was also performing as a theatre artist in stage plays organized through The Madras Players. Andrea was President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea's career in theatre began by appearing in the film of Girishkarnad's Nagamandala. The year 2006 saw her appeared in a new leo advertisement with actor Shiva. Also, she acted as a actor in a Podhigai's TV serial. She has appeared in various shows across India. The brief appearance was in Kanda Mudhal's climax, (2005). She sang a song for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. He asked her to join the female lead characters in Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea was Kalyani the wife who's husband is in the middle of an extramarital affair. Andrea got the part of Kalyani after Simran Shobana, Tabu and other actresses were approached. The film premiered in the beginning of 2010. The film was released in early 2010. play a minor support role in Venkatprabhu's multi-starrer Mankatha, which premiered in August of 2011. Annayum Rasoolum, a romantic film by Rajeev ravi which was released in 2013, was the actress's Malayalam debut.
